I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and experiencing a lot of pimples on my face. What can I do to manage this issue? Can I use turmeric powder and warm water as a remedy? Please provide suggestions.
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Experiencing an increase in pimples during pregnancy is common due to hormonal changes. To manage this issue, there are several steps you can take. Firstly, maintain a regular skincare routine by cleansing your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser. Avoid using harsh products that may irritate your skin further. Secondly, keep your skin hydrated by using oil-free moisturizers suitable for acne-prone skin. Additionally, make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated from within. As for turmeric powder and warm water, it can be used as a natural remedy for acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties. However, it is always advisable to consult with your healthcare provider before trying any new remedies or supplements during pregnancy. They will be able to guide you based on your specific situation and medical history.

I wish I had a magical answer but it's hard to say without knowing your current diet.  Sometimes fried foods or fats will cause more pimples and sometimes it is simply pregnancy hormones.  Vinegar and honey topically should at least help but again It could be internal hormones.  I have mixed vinegar, water, and honey into a face mask which I rinse after approx 10 minutes.  You could also add turmeric to the mask and I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.
