in Baby Health During Pregnancy by anonymous
I've had 6 miscarriages and now I'm pregnant again. I have an unselective endometrium, which means my womb accepts any eggs. I'm currently taking cylogest and waiting for my scan next week. However, for the past week, I've been waking up with a hangover-like feeling and experiencing a terrible sore throat and stuffy nose with frequent sneezing. Is this normal during pregnancy? Should I be more worried considering my history of miscarriages?

It is not uncommon to experience symptoms like a sore throat, stuffy nose, and sneezing during pregnancy due to hormonal changes and increased blood flow. These symptoms are usually caused by nasal congestion or allergies. However, if you have a history of multiple miscarriages, it's understandable that you may be concerned about any new symptoms. While these symptoms are generally harmless, it's always best to consult your healthcare provider for reassurance and guidance specific to your situation. They can evaluate your symptoms in the context of your medical history and provide appropriate advice or treatment if necessary. Remember to take care of yourself physically and emotionally during this time, as stress can also impact pregnancy outcomes.

It would be so hard not to be worried in your circumstances. Feeling the way you are can be totally normal. Every pregnancy can have some different symptom to the next, the hangover feeling, being fatigue is so normal - I think anyway. Your bubba is stealing all your energy to grow xx

Hi

First time i heard about "unselective endometrium".

You'explained it well.

As far as sore throats and stuffy nose, maybe you are catching a cold.

Early stage of a flu, i always make Chicken Soup with lots of different vegetable ( i dont blend it). Add pinch peppers and squeezed half lemon.

It always help my immune system to fight the flu.

Please take care for yourself and your baby.

I dont think its another miscarriage as your symptoms are jus flu.

Go to your doctor to put your mind to rest.
