I am currently in my 13th week of pregnancy and I have been experiencing a burning sensation in my hands and feet. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Experiencing a burning sensation in your hands and feet during pregnancy is not uncommon, especially during the 13th week when hormonal changes are at their peak. This condition, known as peripheral neuropathy, is caused by increased blood flow and pressure on the nerves. It usually resolves on its own after childbirth. However, if the burning sensation becomes severe or is accompanied by other symptoms such as swelling or numbness, it is important to consult your healthcare provider for further evaluation. In the meantime, you can try soaking your hands and feet in cool water, wearing loose-fitting shoes, practicing gentle exercises like stretching, and avoiding prolonged standing or sitting to alleviate discomfort.

I have this each of my pregnancies and it is called cholostasis in pregnancy. Talk to Dr if it does not go away it could be this. You have to do blood work to confirm.
