    Epidural was my friend with 2 labors! I highly suggest it! It's not as bad as it seems & doesn't effect the baby at all.

    I wouldn't do the epidural after the time goes back u will get really bad back pain til the point that u can't walk had it for my first child.... Trust me I'm the same way as u I'm afraid as well I have 2 boys and I'm pregnant again but u will do just fine...

    Im only 16 years old and im having a child. Yeah you can say im a little scared! I know i have my boyfriend and his and my family, but i could use a little more advice. The worst fear of mine is the epidural. I need all the information i can....

    I had my first at 16
    My labour was 42 hours!
    You can do this.
    You will do this.
    Time to put ur momma boots on and just face it head on.
    Drink as much raspberry leaf tea as you can it will help your insides prep for labour.

    Yes.. it hurts and don't let anyone tell you different. But you will get over it. Women have been having babies since the beginning of time. They got over it too. I'm thee biggest wimp when it comes to pain... and I got over it too.

    I'm 39 weeks and i'm scared because i have heard many stories. Many of them have told me that it is painful so i dont really know what to expect

    Yes it's quite painful. But you just kind of take it as it comes. In most instances, everything will work out fine, as it did with my 4 children. I've never had an epidural, but I was really afraid with my 3rd baby and looking back I should've just got an epidural that time. 

    You can definitely do it without, women are strong!

    You don't really have to decide now.

    When you go into labor you may think, "okay, I can do this" or, "I'll try just a little longer" or "give me the drugs! I'm done! " :-P

    Either way, just go with your gut

    This is my first also, I prep myself by saying Beauty is pain. Just remember that. Im scared to but not as horrified as i used to be.

    That is a normal fear. That goes once your huge and and want thay baby out. Lol.

    This is my 3rd pregnancie and if you want to minimise pain. This worked for me emensly...

    Drink Raspberry leaf tea 3 x day from 5 months religiously. Must be raw leaf.

    perineum massage with olive oil in  x day with olive oil from 5 months or before.

    Eat Okra regularly 

    Give birth squatting , kneeling or standing.

    Lying down is worst position ever.

    I didn't  need gas,  air or stitches.  2 pushes for 1st baby . 3 pushes for 2 nd.

    plan to do the same with 3rd.

    My first one was natural birth didn't take anything up untill 2 hrs before having him, tried the gas but that made me vomit had the pethidine instead, it kinda helped Abit I could still feel the pain slightly but definitely could not feel the baby coming out lol

    My second one I had pethidine, but after pushing for a while she got stuck therefore an emergency c section had to be made they gave me epidural and holy crap I went to sleep whilst my partner was watching my contractions on the monitor in shook as I lay there silently..yep that's how good epidural was. Although c section was like a tug of war down there and I hated the recovery afterwards 

    I'm now pregnant with my third and hoping for a VBAC, definitely prefer natural over c section 

    Honestly, we're never ready for that kind of pain. We just take it as we go, and after bub is born you forget that feeling but still remember how your labour went. If that makes sense.
