in Baby Health During Pregnancy by
The doctor believes I'm 12 weeks and two days pregnant. However, I haven't experienced any signs of a miscarriage or other symptoms. My morning sickness and cramps have disappeared, but now I'm frequently going to the bathroom and noticing increased discharge. Is it common for some women to not feel anything during pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy for both me and my spouse.

It is important to note that every woman's experience with pregnancy can vary greatly. While many women may experience a range of symptoms such as morning sickness, cramps, fatigue, and breast tenderness, there are others who may not feel any noticeable changes or discomforts during their pregnancy. This can be considered normal for some women.

The disappearance of morning sickness and cramps does not necessarily indicate a problem or miscarriage. Symptoms can come and go throughout different stages of pregnancy. It is positive that you have not shown any signs of a miscarriage according to your doctor's assessment.

Frequent trips to the bathroom and increased vaginal discharge are also common occurrences during pregnancy. As the uterus expands, it puts pressure on the bladder leading to more frequent urination. Additionally, hormonal changes can cause an increase in vaginal discharge which helps protect against infections.

However, if you have any concerns or doubts about your pregnancy, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider. They will be able to provide personalized advice based on your specific situation and address any worries you may have.

Remember that every woman's journey through pregnancy is unique, so try not to compare yourself too much with others. Focus on taking care of yourself by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, attending regular prenatal check-ups, and seeking support from loved ones or online communities if needed.
