Hello, I am currently in my 22nd week of pregnancy and I have not gained any weight. Is this safe for me and my baby? Should I be concerned?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is not uncommon for some women to experience minimal or no weight gain during pregnancy, especially in the early stages. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider to ensure that everything is progressing as expected. They will be able to assess your individual circumstances and provide personalized advice. In some cases, factors such as a healthy pre-pregnancy weight or a higher body mass index (BMI) may contribute to slower weight gain. Additionally, morning sickness or other digestive issues can also affect weight gain. Your healthcare provider may recommend monitoring your baby's growth through regular ultrasounds or other tests to ensure they are developing properly. Remember that every pregnancy is unique, and what matters most is the overall health and well-being of both you and your baby. If you have any concerns about your weight gain or lack thereof, don't hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider for guidance and reassurance.
