What could be the underlying issue if a catheter was used for a week without any signs of infection during the 15th week of pregnancy?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is not uncommon for pregnant women to experience difficulties with urine passing. While urinary tract infections are often the culprit, there can be other underlying issues causing this problem. Some possible causes include hormonal changes affecting bladder function, pressure on the bladder from the growing uterus, or even muscle weakness in the pelvic floor. It's important to consult with your healthcare provider to determine the exact cause and appropriate treatment options. They may recommend further tests or refer you to a specialist if necessary.
