I'm currently 11 weeks 3 days pregnant and experiencing vomiting immediately after drinking water, even warm water doesn't help. Additionally, I have no appetite. Should I be worried about my baby's growth due to my lack of appetite and water intake?

It is understandable to be concerned about your baby's growth when experiencing a lack of appetite and difficulty with water intake during pregnancy. It is important to stay hydrated, so try sipping small amounts of water throughout the day rather than drinking large quantities at once. You can also try consuming foods with high water content, such as fruits and vegetables, to help maintain hydration levels. If you continue to struggle with vomiting or have concerns about your baby's growth, it is recommended to consult with your healthcare provider for further guidance and support. They may be able to provide additional strategies or recommend appropriate interventions to ensure both you and your baby are healthy during this crucial time.

If you're not getting any hydration then it's best to get yourself to the doctor's. If you're dehydrated they might send you to hospital to go on a drip (they do a ketone test to determine if this is necessary). If no ketones they'll probably prescribe some anti nausea meds. That's what they did for me. Good luck!

I had the same problem. It helped me not to eat/drink until 12 a.m. and then first eat bevore drink.

Make sure you take up enough fluids throughout the rest of the day.

If you feel dehydrated and nothing works (some say vitamin b6/b12 helps) you might need intravenous fluids (seek your doctor).

good luck.
