Can I still be pregnant if my period is 6 weeks and 2 days late, even though the pregnancy test came back negative? Is it possible that the test was wrong or taken too early? What should I do next to determine if I am pregnant or if there is another reason for my missed period?

If your period is significantly delayed and you have received a negative pregnancy test result, it is possible that you could still be pregnant. While home pregnancy tests are generally accurate, they can sometimes produce false negatives, especially if taken too early in the pregnancy. It's recommended to wait a few more days and retest using a different brand of pregnancy test or visit your healthcare provider for a blood test, which can detect lower levels of hCG hormone. Additionally, there are other factors besides pregnancy that can cause missed periods such as hormonal imbalances, stress, changes in weight or exercise routine, certain medications, and medical conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). If you continue to experience irregular periods or have concerns about your fertility, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide further guidance and perform any necessary tests to determine the cause of your missed period.

Probably not. I'm the same.. 6.2  and my test comes back within one second pregnant. I used to take tests when my period was super late. Ended up having pcos and my hormones were so out of whack and never pregnant.  Definitely get checked out.
