Is it compulsory to undergo a growth scan between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy? What about after 35 weeks?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is generally recommended to have a growth scan between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy to monitor the baby's development and ensure they are growing properly. This scan helps identify any potential issues or abnormalities that may require medical intervention. However, after 35 weeks, the necessity of a growth scan may vary depending on individual circumstances. Your healthcare provider will assess your specific situation and determine if an additional growth scan is needed. It is important to discuss this with your doctor or midwife to ensure the best care for you and your baby.

Ultrasounds are not compulsory at any stage of pregnancies. Do your research and decide for yourself for every person is different For instance, ultrasounds can cause some women to ovulate and miscarry. Ultrasounds may also cause damage to your growing fetus, probably due to experience or training (or the lack of) of the person conducting ultrasounds.
