Is it normal to experience bleeding at 7 weeks of pregnancy? What should I do if I see blood coming from my private part? I am concerned and need advice on what steps to take.
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is not uncommon for pregnant women to experience some bleeding or spotting during the first trimester, including around 7 weeks. While this can be alarming, it doesn't always indicate a problem. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider as soon as possible. They will be able to evaluate your specific situation and provide appropriate guidance. In some cases, the bleeding may be harmless and due to factors such as implantation or hormonal changes. However, it could also be a sign of a more serious issue like an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage. Your healthcare provider may recommend an ultrasound or other tests to determine the cause of the bleeding and ensure the well-being of both you and your baby. It's crucial not to panic but seek medical advice promptly for proper evaluation and peace of mind.

Is it brown or red?

If brown no worries but you should speak to your gynecologist

Light spotting can be from the plancenta implanting which happens around 7 weeks. Speak to your doctor to rule anything else out.
