I am currently 18 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and I have not yet felt my baby kick. When can I expect to feel these movements? Should I be concerned about the lack of movement?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Feeling your baby's kicks is an exciting milestone in pregnancy, but it's important to remember that every pregnancy is unique. While some women may start feeling their baby's movements as early as 16 weeks, others may not feel anything until around 25 weeks. The exact timing can vary based on factors such as the position of the placenta and the strength of your abdominal muscles.

If you haven't felt any movement by 18 weeks, there is usually no cause for concern. It's common for first-time mothers to take longer to notice these sensations. Additionally, if you have a higher body mass index (BMI) or if your placenta is positioned at the front of your uterus (anterior placenta), it may take longer for you to feel those first kicks.

However, if you are experiencing extreme anxiety or have other concerns about your pregnancy, it's always best to consult with your healthcare provider. They can provide reassurance and perform additional tests if necessary.

In the meantime, there are a few things you can try to encourage fetal movement. Lie down on your left side and relax in a quiet environment. Pay attention to any subtle flutters or gentle nudges that might indicate your baby moving. You can also try gently poking or prodding your abdomen to stimulate a response from your little one.

Remember that every pregnancy is different, so try not to compare yourself too much with others' experiences. Eventually, you will start feeling those precious kicks and punches from your growing baby.

I'm in my 4thmonth and was told I will start feeling the flutters of my baby moving very soon.

Nothing as big as a kick yet but small stuff.
So not sure but would guess after the 6th month Baby might have Soccer legs to kick you with!!
Good luck!!
