I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and I have been experiencing significant pressure in my lower back and pelvic area. Is this a normal symptom during pregnancy or should I be concerned?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is not uncommon for pregnant women to experience pelvic pressure and lower back pain, especially as the pregnancy progresses. These symptoms can be caused by various factors such as hormonal changes, the growing uterus, and the shifting of organs to accommodate the baby. However, if the pain becomes severe or is accompanied by other concerning symptoms such as bleeding or fever, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider. They can evaluate your condition and provide appropriate guidance or treatment if necessary. In the meantime, you may find relief by practicing good posture, using supportive pillows while sleeping, engaging in gentle exercises approved by your doctor, applying heat or cold packs to the affected areas, and wearing comfortable shoes with proper support.
