I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant and experiencing a runny nose and sore throat. What over-the-counter sinus medicine is safe for me to take? Are there any natural remedies that can help alleviate my symptoms?

It's important to be cautious when taking any medication during pregnancy, including sinus medicine. While it's always best to consult with your healthcare provider before taking any medication, there are some options that are generally considered safe for pregnant women. Saline nasal sprays or rinses can help relieve congestion and moisturize the nasal passages. Steam inhalation with essential oils such as eucalyptus or peppermint may also provide relief. Additionally, drinking plenty of fluids, using a humidifier, and getting enough rest can help support your body's natural healing process. Remember to prioritize your health and consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
