Why is my tummy not getting bigger and why can't I feel any baby movement at 18 weeks pregnant? Is this normal or should I be concerned?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is common for women to start showing a baby bump around 18-20 weeks of pregnancy, but every woman's body is different. Factors such as the position of the uterus, the strength of abdominal muscles, and the amount of amniotic fluid can affect how big your tummy appears. If you are not experiencing any other concerning symptoms like pain or bleeding, it is likely that everything is progressing normally. However, if you have any concerns, it's always best to consult with your healthcare provider who can provide personalized advice based on your specific situation. As for feeling baby movements, it may take a little longer for some women to feel them, especially if it's their first pregnancy. Most women start feeling flutters or gentle movements between 18-25 weeks. However, this timeline can vary from person to person. If you are still not feeling any movements after 25 weeks or if you have any worries about your baby's well-being, reach out to your healthcare provider who can perform an ultrasound or other tests to ensure everything is on track. Remember that every pregnancy is unique and there is a wide range of what is considered normal. Trust your instincts and seek medical advice whenever you have concerns about your pregnancy journey.
