in Tests at Pregnancy by (1 point)
I'm 13 days late, which only happens when I'm pregnant. I already have 3 children. I've been experiencing sickness, headaches, and fatigue. Last week's pregnancy test was negative, but today's test showed a faint line. Shouldn't the line be darker at 5 weeks and 6 days?

It is not uncommon to see a faint positive line on a pregnancy test, especially in the early stages of pregnancy. The darkness of the line does not necessarily indicate the level of hCG (pregnancy hormone) in your body. Factors such as the sensitivity of the test, time of day, and urine concentration can affect the intensity of the line. It is recommended to wait a few more days and take another test or consult with your healthcare provider for confirmation. They may suggest a blood test to measure your hCG levels accurately. Remember that every pregnancy is different, and even a faint positive result indicates that you are likely pregnant.

If you ovulated late it might be the cause of just a faint line.
