Is it safe to take worm expeller during pregnancy for relieving naval pains at 18 weeks? What are the potential risks and benefits for the baby?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is important to consult with your healthcare provider before taking any medication or herbal remedy during pregnancy, including worm expeller. While some sources suggest that worm expeller may help relieve naval pains, there is limited research on its safety and effectiveness specifically during pregnancy. Worm expeller contains active ingredients that could potentially harm the developing baby. Your healthcare provider will be able to assess your individual situation and provide guidance on safe and effective treatments for your naval pain. They may recommend alternative remedies or prescribe medications that are known to be safe during pregnancy. It is always best to prioritize the health and well-being of both you and your baby by seeking professional medical advice.

Sometimes you can get bad pain when you are pregnent due ro your growing stomach. Many times a "pregnency belly band" that you wear can give you more support and aid in pain relief.. I have nevee heard of a doctor giving a worm expeller while being pregnant. I imagine this ia unsafe as they usually do not want you to take any medication while pregnent unless absolutely necessary.  However if they think for some reason you habe a worm it is best to get rid of it now so it is not harmful to you or the baby. Id follow your doctors orders as they will give you the beat advice as it pertains to your exact circumstances

I would suggest you visit another clinic. I once took a worm expellent prescribed to me by the doctor when I was 2 months pregnant and had a miscarriage afterwards so this time I decided not to take any drug except the antenatal drugs

It is definitely not safe to take any worm expeller while pregnant if you are in the first trimester you can abort the baby, if in the second or third trimester the baby can be born with some sort of deffect .
