I am currently 11 weeks and 1 day pregnant, and I recently noticed a red blood clot in my urine. Should I be concerned about this? Is it a serious issue that requires immediate medical attention?

Seeing a red blood clot in your urine during pregnancy can be concerning, but it is important to stay calm and seek medical advice. While it may not always indicate a serious problem, it is crucial to get evaluated by your healthcare provider as soon as possible. There are several potential causes for this symptom, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, or even more serious conditions such as placenta previa or placental abruption. Your doctor will likely perform tests to determine the cause of the bleeding and provide appropriate treatment. Remember to communicate any other symptoms you may be experiencing, such as pain or discomfort, as this information will help your healthcare provider make an accurate diagnosis.

It's always a good idea to get it checked. I had bleeding in week 10 and I rushed to the emergency department. They did an ultrasound and told me that everything was ok. I was also booked in for the following week check up ultrasound to make sure that baby was ok. After week 10 that i had spotted bleeding for one week and now everything is ok. I am 18 weeks now.
