Is it safe to continue exercising during early pregnancy? Are there any risks of miscarriage during the first trimester?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is generally safe to continue exercising during early pregnancy, but it is important to consult with your healthcare provider before starting or continuing any exercise routine. Regular physical activity can provide numerous benefits for both you and your baby, such as improved mood, increased energy levels, and reduced risk of gestational diabetes. However, certain precautions should be taken to ensure safety. Avoid high-impact activities that may increase the risk of falls or abdominal trauma. Opt for low-impact exercises like walking, swimming, or prenatal yoga. Listen to your body and modify or stop any activity if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or vaginal bleeding. It's also crucial to stay hydrated and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. As for concerns about miscarriage in the first trimester, most miscarriages occur due to chromosomal abnormalities rather than exercise or physical activity. However, if you have a history of recurrent miscarriages or other high-risk factors, it is advisable to discuss your exercise plans with your doctor. They can provide personalized guidance based on your individual circumstances. Remember that every pregnancy is unique, so always prioritize your health and well-being by seeking professional advice when making decisions about exercise during pregnancy.

Yes drs say. But only exercise as much as before you got pregnant  . Doing to much, will only hurt not help. If no exercise for most part  short walks are good for you and baby . Good rest and no stress is best in 1st trimester
