Hi im 11 weeks pregnant and have been down with morning sickness since week 7. Over the weeks, the vomiting and retching got worse. It lasts throughout the day, as long as I'm awake. Now, I start to see streaks of blood in my vomitus. Has anyone experience that? Is that normal?

It is normal for a person to vomit some blood during pregnancy. Streaks of blood is very normal due to the lining of the esophagus being irritated. But if you vomit chunks of blood you need to contact a emergency personal immediately.

Hi I am around 12 weeks pregnant too and today while throwing up I saw streaks of blood. It was not a whole lot. But enough to be a concern. I just moved and don't have a doctor here. Can anyone tell me what the doctor had suggested them and what measures were taken?

Hey My baby's 11 weeks as of today and today and when I first found out I was pregnant I threw up yellow, today it was followed by a few spots of red in my spit. I still haven't figured out if this is normal yet ( though there seems to be a lot of people doing it) but I can say this, eating something small or dry depending on what I want at the time every 2 hours helps reduce my sickness SALTINES ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND! If you don't want to eat at the two hour mark eat a few saltine crackers. Also getting up and walking around when you feel nauseous helps.
