I'm only six weeks pregnant, but my regular clothes are already unflattering. Maternity clothes feel too soon and borrowing my fiance's clothes is not an option. Any suggestions for what to wear during this early stage of pregnancy?

Hey! I am only 11 weeks but already my pants are TOO tight! I went out and bought some "regular" looking maternity pants with the underbelly panel and am just wearing them with regular shirts! you cannot even tell they're maternity!. The underbelly panel works from even BEFORE you show much and lasts through the pregnancy into even after the baby! Good luck!!!!

I started noticing my clothes not fitting right around 7 weeks. I felt uncomfortable wearing maternity clothing so early but after talking to friends that are moms they all said that it was fine. There are so many cute stores with maternity clothing and not all pieces are for "extremely pregnant" women. I was able to find things that made me feel comfortable and stylish.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and was getting frustrated with my expanding waist. I suddenly got fed up and gave into buying maternity clothes. They come where you can tighten them if needed and later expand as you grow. I know it may seem silly at first, but you can't beat that feeling of comfort.

Hi I'm Amy and I am in the middle of my 6th week. I'm not particularly thin, but I'm not fat either. I an 5'10 and am already starting to feel uncomfortable in my regular pants. So it isn't just thin people that have that problem. Hope it makes some taller, not so skinny women feel better

I am 12 weeks and not fitting into anything! I have a great little consignment shop around the corner from me where I made some purchases and defenitely saved some money. This is a great route to go especially if you do not plan on having anymore children, like myself. Maternity clothes are expensive so be be wise about what you want and need. As for wearing pregnancy clothes early, go for it! Enjoy the time now, it will go by so fast!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and while i still fit in my pants i have been bursting out of my tops pretty much since I became pregnant lol. I have worn a lot of dresses and stay away from button down tops. I also purchased a few maternity bras and that seemed to help in most cases. I don't plan on buying true maternity clothes until I have to because I usually wear maxi dresses in the summer and most styles have empire waists or have generous sweeps. I dont know how relaxed the dress code is at work but maybe you can try that. Hang in there :-)
