Is it normal for the color of my vaginal discharge to change from yellow to white during pregnancy? If not, what could be causing this variation?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is common for the color of vaginal discharge to vary during pregnancy. The changes in color can be influenced by hormonal fluctuations, changes in vaginal pH levels, or the presence of an infection. Yellow or white discharge is generally considered normal as long as there are no other accompanying symptoms such as itching, burning, or a foul odor. However, if you experience any discomfort or notice any unusual symptoms along with the color change, it is important to consult your healthcare provider for further evaluation and appropriate treatment if necessary. They will be able to determine if there is an underlying issue that needs attention.

If it's yellow it could be VB, a bacterial infection. If it smells go see a doctor, it can increase chance of misscarage if not treated. I had the same problem and now taking medicine for it. My doctor was happy I double checked and the only symptoms are yellow discharge and smell.

If you have any history of infection in the area before, it's probably a good idea to get double checked.
