in Problems in becoming pregnant by anonymous
I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing white discharge since yesterday. What could be the cause of this and how can I manage it?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is common to experience white discharge during pregnancy, as long as it is not accompanied by itching, a foul odor, or other discomforts. This discharge, known as leukorrhea, is caused by increased blood flow to the vaginal area and hormonal changes. To manage it, wear breathable underwear, avoid douching or using scented products in the genital area, and maintain good hygiene. If you notice any unusual symptoms or are concerned about the amount or consistency of the discharge, consult your healthcare provider for further evaluation.

It is probably a yeast infection. Very common over pregnancy. I had one. It is safe to use over the coubter suppositories and creams like monistat 3. Check with your doctor if symptoms last longer then seven days with medications. Itching and burning will accompany the discharge if it is a yeast infection
