While taking a bath, I accidentally fell from a stool to the ground and landed on my butt. I don't feel any pain or discomfort, but I'm concerned about the impact on my baby. Should I be worried?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is understandable to be concerned after experiencing a fall during pregnancy. However, in most cases, mild slips or falls do not cause harm to the baby. The amniotic fluid and your body's natural protective mechanisms help cushion and protect the fetus. If you don't experience any pain, bleeding, or other concerning symptoms after the fall, it is likely that your baby is unharmed. However, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider to ensure everything is okay. They may recommend monitoring your baby's movements or performing an ultrasound to provide reassurance and peace of mind. Remember to take precautions in the future by ensuring a safe environment and using non-slip mats in areas prone to wet surfaces.
